Timandra Harkness

Timandra Harkness is a writer and broadcaster, being a regular on BBC Radio 4, writing and presenting FutureProofing, How To Disagree, Steelmanning and Political School, and documentaries including Data, Data Everywhere, Divided Nation, and What Has Sat-Nav Done To Our Brains. She was also resident reporter on the social psychology series The Human Zoo. Timandra is s fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and the founder of their Data Ethics and Governance Section, and the author of Big Data: Does Size Matter? (Bloomsbury, 2016) and Technology is Not the Problem (HarperCollins, 2024).
